Mr Tony nwoye presented 3 different tax certificates for period spanning 2008 to 2013 of which each had contradictory data. The tax certificates are dated;
June 14, 2011 issued by Enugu State Government no. 000099753
NWOYE CERT
June 19, 2012 issued by Anambra State Government no. 109985
NWOYE CERT
July 25, 2013 issued by Federal Inland Revenue service, Abuja no. 05198093
NWOYE
On the tax certificate issued by Enugu State Government, he claims to have been issued a tax receipt for his 2009 tax paid on Sept 19, 2009 which is a lie as this date was a Saturday (non working day)
The said certificate is claimed to have been issued on June 14, 2011 and the tax for 2011 paid on same date, June 14, 2011. If this is assumed to be true, which tax certificate did Mr Tony Nwoye presented to PDP and INEC in the run up to the April 2011 national assembly elections in which he participated? Could he have paid his 2011 tax after the elections had taken place and his colleagues sworn into office?
In the tax certificate issued by Anambra State government, he claimed that his source of income is medical practice. Unless Tony Nwoye is guilty of quackery which is possible and is a criminal offence, Tony Nwoye is not a graduate talk less of being a medical doctor.
Tony Nwoye was indeed a medical student in the University of Nigeria Nsukka and withdrew after a year in medical school, which he should be in the best position to inform all why he withdrew. Was it personal or he failed 2nd mb or was involved in cult activities?
A look at the 2012 and 2013 tax certificates shall reveal that the taxes were not paid as at when due.
to further prove the lies he has concocted, his original tax receipts should be demanded and verified as this was the reason he has failed to show these to the screening committee rather, bringing a scanned copy on the pretext that originals are in Anambra state.
Part iv 14(a) of the PDP guidelines states clearly that an aspirant shall not be qualified to be nominated or contest if he fails to have paid tax for the preceding three years as at when due, and part iv15(2) of the same guidelines states that any aspirant who gives false information shall be disqualified.

Eminem has opened up to the world about his history with drugs and near-death by overdose in a new documentary. The film, entitled How To Make Money Selling Drugs, has the rapper revealing some frightening facts about how he 'almost died.' In a rather heart-wrenching preview of the film on YouTube, the 40-year-old rapper reveals that at one point, he was almost put on dialysis and the doctors didn't think he'd make it.

As he talks about a time he almost died after a long stint taking such drugs as VicodinXanax and Valium, he appears to struggle to even get the words out. Eminem explains that he pushed away anyone that tried to help him or let him know he had a problem, saying: 'Get that f*%@ing person outta here, I can't believe they said that sh*t to me.' The star tells how since he was taking prescription pills and 'not shooting heroin' or 'putting coke up [his] nose' or 'smoking crack', that he 'literally thought [he] could control it.' 'I don't know what point exactly it started to be a problem, I just remember liking it more and more,' said the Slim Shady legend. When Eminem finally wound up at the hospital, he said, it was almost too late.

'Had I got to the hospital about two hours later, I would have died. My organs were shutting down. My liver, kidneys, everything. They were gonna have to put me on dialysis, they didn’t think I was gonna make it,' he said in a shocking revelation. He said he didn't sleep for three weeks after that and later relapsed.

I’m Sorry for Embarrassing Nigerians – Beverly

I’m Sorry for Embarrassing Nigerians – Beverly

osu beverly
Ada Beverly Osu
Nigeria’s representatives in the just concluded Big Brother Africa reality TV show, Beverly Osu and Melvin Oduah were presented to the media at the Protea Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos last Thursday after their triumphant return to the country. The two ex-housemates recounted their personal experiences in the Big Brother House. Beverly was the first to put the record straight , as she denied having sex in the House with her South African counterpart, Angelo. She however, confirmed that her relationship with Angelo was real.
In BBA House
The experience was awesome.Though it was challenging, God really saw me through. It is something everybody should look forward to participating in. I don’t believe I was cheated during the grand finale. Housemates from West Africa were not only united but, we dominated the House. Whoever won the show really deserved to win. For me and Melvin, having made it to the finals, we are equally winners in our own rights. At least, we brought something home to show for our efforts.
Having sex with South Africa’s Angelo!
I did not have sex in the House. I had a relationship with Angelo Collins but we did not have sex. I loved him and I still love him. I am a blunt person and very real. People that knew me before BBA know that I don’t pretend to be who I am. If it happens, you fall in love, you can’t fake it. I did not have sex with Angelo. I was under the bathtube, but we never had sex. Maybe, the camera made it look so. Everybody gets naked to have their bath, so I don’t think it is wrong for me to be naked when I have my bath too. There was no way. I couldn’t be different because I went for a reality show. So, I should not be judged by what people saw during the show since I didn’t intentionally bring out my video for all to see. .Big brother did that.
Winning strategy
I am a very blunt person. Melvin can testify to this claim because he stayed with me for ninety one days in the House. I was only talking to my fellow Housemates. And I don’t regret anything I said about myself and my family. This is because if I have to be on this platform, people have to know the real me and what I have been through.
On her plans for the future
I’ll continue with my online reality show “Beverly Says” and I’ll complete my education. I also intend to go into acting.I’m a 200 level student of the National Open University of Nigeria, where I am studying Mass Communication.
My mum’s reaction
My mum has tutored me very well. Even if the whole world rejects me today, my mum can’t reject me. I love my mum so much. I’m her only daughter and the last child in the family. I have always been there for her, just as she has always been there for me. I will not disappoint my mum intentionally by saying she this or she’s that…
Embarrassing Nigerians
I don’t feel happy about it because this is the first time, I represented the country in any continental competition. But the fact remains that if you didn’t go for it, you wouldn’t know how it’s in the House. I wasn’t there with my cell phone to be able to communicate with the outside world. I was just there alone. I’m sorry for embarrassing my country. I didn’t do it intentionally. My participation in the show was not to embarrass my country. I am a proud Nigerian.
On featuring in a porn production by Afrocandy
I heard about it. Thanks for the offer but no.
I participated in BBA to be myself – Melvin
BBA Experience
Considering that I and Beverly were chosen to represent the country and the fact that we were in the House from the beginning to the end, made our participation in the show remarkable. There are a lot of people who don’t know anything about Big Brother. For me, I learned a lot of things while in the House.
My journey
I contested for 2009 Gulder Ultimate Search, and I emerged the first runner up. I contested for Mr Nigeria in 2011 and again, I finished as the first runner up. Now, I contested for Big Brother Africa-The Chase and also finished in the third position. But I am not The Chase. I think we can also take time to look at the positive side of the show. It is not easy to participate in these major competitions and making to the finals. So, I think I should be given some credit. It is also painful when you have worked so hard to make it to the finals, only to miss winning the ultimate price.
His future plans
I’m taking my acting career to the next level.
Winning strategy
Before I was chosen to represent my country, I was regularly asked what winning strategy I would adopt while in the House. I kept repeating the same thing “I was going to be myself and nothing else. The Melvin you meet in real life was the same Melvin you watched in the Big Brother House. Nothing about me was unreal or done to make people like me or hate me. I thank Nigerians for voting for me . I will always be a proud ambassador of the country

Nigeria: Boko Haram Being Progressively Weakened - Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan has said that with the security measures put in place by his administration, the Boko Haram sect is being progressively weakened.
Speaking at the Presidential Villa in Abuja yesterday while receiving the outgoing representative of the delegation of the European Union to Nigeria and ECOWAS, Mr. David Mac Rae, Jonathan said his administration would remain proactive in combating terrorism.
According to the president, although measures taken by his administration have significantly reduced the occurrence of terrorist attacks in the country, the government will continue doing everything possible to further enhance security in all parts of the country.
"As a government, we are doing everything possible to improve our country on all fronts. We are consistently adapting our security architecture to deal with terrorism which has become a challenge to the whole world. Boko Haram is being progressively weakened but we are not resting on our oars. We will continue to do everything possible to achieve greater security for all who reside within our borders," the president said.
Jonathan, who maintained that many positive things were happening in the country, added that his administration would continue to do its best to correct negative perceptions about the nation, such as the notion of widespread insecurity and corruption.
He welcomed the declaration by the outgoing ambassador that he had recently travelled to the Niger Delta and some northern states and found people there going about their normal lives and businesses without fear.
