Mother of three allegedly commits suicide over husband’s refusal to get her iPad

A mother Of three , Mrs. Catherine Sefunmi Urouma has allegedly committed suicide following the failure of her husband to buy her Ipad as requested.
The 41 year-old woman was said to have drank some poison on Saturday morning in their residence in Akure, the Ondo State Capital.
Following her action, the family were thrown into mourning, even as the neighbours are still bewildered over the woman’s abominable act.
DailyPost gathered that her husband had on several occasions urged her to be patient with him until he can afford to buy the new Ipad.
The deceased, who is a senior account officer at Akure North local government was using a blackberry phone until her death.
She was said to have threatened to kill herself a fortnight ago if her husband failed to get her an iPad;
The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Wole Ogodo, who confirmed the incident, said the Police was investigating the incident to ascertain the actual cause of her death.
