Welcome to “#WorkFlow”, a weekly column where I give you all the juiciest ‘gist’ of what’s been going on in the industry, especially some reports we missed during the week. That is, the ‘news’ news and the ‘not-so-news’ news.
So many things happened this week so, brace yourself, lehggo!
Did you know?
Wizkid has been out in the UK since he went to perform at the Yahoo! Wireless festival a few weeks ago. From shopping sprees to chilling with his Disturbing London label mate, Tinie Tempah, the Star Boyhas been making big moves out there.
But, Tinie Tempah, who is currently promoting his new single, “Trampoline” featuring 2 Chainz, had a ’Disturbing London dinner’ last night but Wizkid wasn’t in attendance.
I wonder if there’s something wrong… or, maybe Wizkid is already out of the UK. While he was out there though, he started taking a picture a day in his Star Boy fashion. Check this!
Wizkid has got very peculiar urban style. He loves those big designer labels and has a fetish for cool sneakers. His girlfriend, Tania Omotayo on the other hand, comes off as a little more sophisticated.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Rukky Sanda started quite a ruckus with her plunging neck-lined silver sequined dress at the “House Of Gold” premiere in Lagos. So much of a ruckus that this guy in the next picture couldn’t help himself. I wonder what Yvonne Nelson is thinking.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Still on the topic of eye-popping style, Beat FM OAP, Fade Ogunro comes to mind every time, going from a chic sophisticated look to a down-right b-boy one.
And then, this happens!
She’s got the moves…
_______________________________________________________________________________
Some people are huge fans of controversy. That’s Zainab Sheriff, the Sierra Leonian model from the last season og Big Brother Africa. Doesn’t ring a bell? She’s the housemate that got slapped by Ghana’s DKB. Aha! Now you remember.
Zainab has been hanging out with fellow Sierra Leonian BBA evictees, Bolt & Bassey and she looks quite amazing in this monochrome dress.
Those aren’t the only people she’s been hanging with. She went to Istanbul, Turkey with Ghanaian style star, Sandra Ankobiah and they both came back with full luggage
In other news, the hot Sierra Leonian model just turned a year older and had a close knit birthday party with a few of her friends. Happy Birthday Zainab!
_______________________________________________________________________________
Aww! Isn’t this cute? Nigerian supermodel Oluchi playing soccer with her son. It already looks like he scored that goal.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Now this is what “Sho Lee” money gets you. Sean Tizzle absolutely splurged on sneakers and jewellery. He should send a pair my way – I really wouldn’t mind.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Speaking of high profile, Don Jazzy and Iyanya working together is definitely something we should be looking forward to.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Tunde Ednut for the ‘gyal dem’! I just couldn’t help myself; Tunde‘s got his sexy on.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Speaking of ‘sexy’, check out Damilola Adegbite & Mo’Cheddah in these recent photos. Feisty!
Who’s bringing sexy back? They are!
Then… &Now!
Uti Nwachukwu‘s idea of ‘suit and tie’ ensemble has definitely changed over the years

He's finally done something noble: Justin Bieber accepts marriage proposal from 8-year-old fan battling liver disease
|
Hero: Justin Bieber granted a fan's wish to see his concert, and he accepted her marriage proposal too
Justin Bieber broke the Make-A-Wish Foundation record by granting its 200th wish after spending time with asick 8-year-old fan and accepting her marriage proposal.
He met Atlanta born Annalysha Brown-Rafanan, who is suffering from a life threatening liver condition, over the weekend in conjunction with the charity.
Rafanan was greeted on Christmas Day 2012 with the news that she would get to meet Bieber and attend his concert in Atlanta on August 10, so it's been a long time coming.
'Justin Bieber makes her happy. And through all her illness and poking and all that, it just takes away from "I'm sick,'" said Annalysha's mother, Contrina Brown.
'This is what it is about. Thanks,' Bieber Tweeted to Make-A-Wish Foundation.
'Honored yesterday. one of the best moments ive ever had. thank u. looking forward to doing more together. thanks.'
The 19-year-old is well overdue a smattering of good press after a flurry of detrimental tidbits.
Most recently Wayne Rennalls claims that Bieber and his entourage attacked him on August 4 outside South Pointe nightclub in Southampton, New York.
The aspiring model, who is represented by Worldwide Agency, sported the remnants of a black eye during the conference.
When contacted by the MailOnline for comment on the allegations, an unnamed spokesperson for Justin Bieber declined to comment.
Meanwhile, Wayne claims the fight with Justin and his entourage started after the pop singer became jealous over girls that he wanted to party with.
'Justin Bieber [was] still running his mouth and I took my shirt off to fight,' he said.
Fracas: Justin allegedly got into a fight with a fellow nightclub patron on Saturday night in the upscale area
Worrying behaviour: Justin has been finding himself in hot water of late
On tour: Justin is currently travelling around the US performing in his tour
Meanwhile, the two women who went home with Bieber were reportedly forced to sign nondisclosure agreements after their night with the singer.
'They are cool girls who are just trying to make a living,' a friend of the women told New York Daily News. 'They had no idea how they would get mixed up in this crazy mess...
'Bieber’s people made them sign nondisclosure agreements, so there is not a lot they can say.'
The star tweeted: 'The most recent rumors might be the funniest of all. Where do u get this stuff??? #focusedonreality.
'Off to do what I love. Perform and see my fans. Focused on the positive and what is real. South Carolina see u soon.'
The star had spent his day sunning himself and posting shirtless pictures on Instagram.
It comes after a string of incidents where the singer demonstrated 'pop brat behaviour'.
He has been pictured spitting on fans and urinating in a janitor's mop bucket in the kitchen of a New York night club.

Aww! Isn’t this cute? Nigerian supermodel Oluchi playing soccer with her son. It already looks like he scored that goal.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Now this is what “Sho Lee” money gets you. Sean Tizzle absolutely splurged on sneakers and jewellery. He should send a pair my way – I really wouldn’t mind.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Speaking of high profile, Don Jazzy and Iyanya working together is definitely something we should be looking forward to.

Tunde Ednut for the ‘gyal dem’! I just couldn’t help myself; Tunde‘s got his sexy on.

You can officially call her an actress.
The first photo of Nigerian chanteuse Tiwa Savage on the set of MTV’s anticipated show Shuga, has emerged online.
Earlier this month, BN Movies & TV announced that the singer as well as Ghanaian heartthrob Chris Attoh and Nigerian on-air-personality Maria Okanrende will star in the production. (Click here to Read).
In the photo we can see Tiwa who plays Sade, the glamorous owner of Badoo Tree Night Club dining with a young man, but she has a fierce and angry look. Hmm… we wonder what this scene is about?
Tiwa proves that talent-wise, you can’t put her in a box. The busy 33 year old songstress also secured a gig as a host of a show alongside Banky W on Mo Abudu’s Ebony Life TV.
Do you think Tiwa will make a good actress? Let us know!
Big Brother: Who will win Biggie’s dollars?
Nigeria’s own model, Beverly Osu, has made history by being the first Big Brother Africa contestant that has not been nominated for eviction since the inception of the television series in 2003.
Though critised and condemned by many Nigerians, the lingerie model and video vixen seems to be in the good books of the other housemates who have not for once put her up for eviction.
Beverly, who has been the head of house twice, hasn’t had any need to save herself. The final nominations just took place and despite the scandalous videos circulated about her and Angelo, Beverly and Melvin, Nigeria’s female contestant has managed to scale through to the finals.
The top seven contestants in the house are, Beverly, Melvin, Angelo, Cleo, Dilish, Bimp and Elikem. Who will make it to the top five and who will eventually take the coveted $300,000 home?
